On completion of the Strong Women project many of the women have the desire to continue to develop their skills and knowledge by engaging in the Stronger Women project.

Participants have opportunity to build on the skills and

knowledge gained during their involvement in the initial

project. They are then encouraged to take these

out into the community. The women involved

demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm not only for

their own personal development but for those around

them.

Workshops are held over three one day sessions.

The project draws on positive psychology which helps to identify and use strengths rather than focus on negativity.

It is particularly suited to encouraging and engaging women within disadvantaged communities.

The three one day sessions in the Stronger Women project focus on beliefs, needs and setting future goals.

In the final session the women identify their own goals and

community goals for the future.
